Student Government & College Committees

Clubs & Organizations can make $200 each semester per member that sits on SG/Coliege Committees: It will be on a first come first serve basis.

Before October 1st, each club can only have one member per committee. After October 1st, it will be on first come first serve for clubs to get a chance to earn money.

1. Appropriations Committee (Budget) – Treasure & President (studenttreasuer@westerntc.edu & studentpresident@westerntc.edu )
   Meetings (Day, Location, & Time): Bi-Weekly, Tuesdays, SG Office, 2:30pm-3:30pm – start September 6th, 2011
   Task: Build next year’s SG budget & approve Reserve fund request
    
   
2. Legislative & Bylaws Committee
   Parliamentarian & Governor (Studentparliamentarian@westerntc.edu  & studentgovernor@westerntc.edu
   Meetings (Day, Location, & Time): Bi-Weekly, Thursdays, SG Office, 4pm-5pm – start September 15th, 2011
   Task: Update Student Government bylaw/constitution as needed and advocate on behalf of Western students
    
   
3. Campus Events Committee – CEC & Public Relation (studentcec@westerntc.edu & studentpr@westerntc.edu)
   Meetings (Day, Location, & Time): Weekly, Tuesdays, SG Office, 3:30pm-4:30pm – starts September 6th, 2011
   Task: Plan and promote campus events and activities throughout the school year
