Week 14 - Design Analysis: Newspapers
Divide into groups of 2–4 students.
Instructions
- For a newspaper of your choice, find and print a copy of a printed newspaper, the web site (homepage), the mobile version, and if you can the app.
- research and list 5 do's and 5 don't for newspaper design for each of the mediums (you may have 20 do's and 20 don't)
- Analyze the differences between each based on their grid, layout, type, art/photos direction, colors, content, target market. What design changes were made as the printed newspaper became a web site, then a mobile site, then an app?
