Favicon

A favicon is an extension of your organization's brand. You should take the time to design and upload one so your web site looks professional.

1. Design your image in Photoshop

• RGB, 16 x 16 pixels

1. Download the .ico Photoshop plugin here: http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/
2. Donate some money to their cause… hey, you just got it for free, didn't you
3. Place the plugin into Photoshop file formats folder
4. Go back to Photoshop and Save As…
5. Name your file: favicon
6. and choose the ICO (Windows Icon) file format
7. Place the file in the root level of your web site's directory
8. Write this code into your web site's head:
   <LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="favicon.ico">
9. Save all and upload your new files to your server. Next… view your new coolness…
