Web and Mobile Device Design
This page shows comparative examples of how companies adapt their brand from a web site to a mobile device.
I am always interested to see how companies apply their brand to new and emerging technology, products and advertising mediums. There are many considerations when adapting a brand, and some of the companies below haven't addressed all of them. As you look through the samples, consider these points:
- How consistently is the brand adapted? Do all of the designs look like they go together and represent the same company? Or are they different enough that they may confuse the customer, or fail to reinforce the company's brand—building strong brand recognition and loyalty.
- Did the designer(s) consistently use the company's brand typeface, art, colors and layout?
